Care Plus NJ is currently seeking a professional and qualified Mental Health Screener to provide therapeutic face-to-face and telephone crisis intervention.  Schedule is comprised of day, evening, and weekend hours.


As a Mental Health Screener for Care Plus NJ, you will assess people for dangerousness due to mental illness to determine the clinically appropriate treatment in the least restrictive setting possible. You will also answer the telephone crisis line and conduct psychiatric evaluations.
 

Qualifications

  • MSW or MA in related field plus one year post master, fulltime employment, in mental health OR
  • BA plus 3 yrs post BA, fulltime employment in mental health, one of which must be in a crisis setting OR
  • BA enrolled in MA program, plus two years, fulltime employment in mental health, one of which must be in a crisis setting.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy
