CarePlus New Jersey is a northern New Jersey provider of recovery-focused mental health, substance abuse, and family services that address the unique needs of individuals with a holistic approach to recovery and overall wellness.

 

Operating out of 23 sites – including three outpatient centers located in Paramus, Fair Lawn, and Montclair, ten residential facilities, offices at three local hospitals, and seven community offices – our services are convenient to clients located throughout Northern New Jersey. We also provide educational programs on mental health-related topics to area schools and community groups.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Children’s Outpatient Endeavors (COPE) Program, the Per Diem Clinician is responsible for:

  • providing therapy to children/adolescents ages 4-18 and their families to promote stability, emotional growth, and healthy functioning in the least restrictive environment
  • providing assessment, treatment planning and case management
  • assuring departmental goals and/or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame
  • having a flexible work schedule/creating their work schedule around the needs of the client/family
  • must accept a minimum of 5 cases

$55 per hour!

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work or other behavioral health discipline
  • 1-2 year of clinical experience
  • 1-2 year of  working with children/adolescents and families
  • Must have a professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) license to practice social work/counseling
  • Willing to be paneled with private insurance companies
  • Good documentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Agency’s automobile insurance policy
